Ultrasound Photos

Be warned, this will be a photo-heavy post.

Everything went well at the appointment yesterday. The weather was clear for our drive to the hospital 45 minutes away. Our ultrasound technician was awesome (and she printed out lots of pictures for us!) And everything looks a-okay with the little one growing inside me. She's currently measuring at 1 lb 1 ounce, and to quote the u/s technician, "she's quite the grower!" Apparently she's bigger than normal, but I just say she's Daddy's girl!

The doctor confirmed that the previa is still there, though it seems as though the placenta is lying close to the cervix rather than slightly over it. He's pretty positive it will clear/correct itself before delivery, and I'm just hoping and praying it does before my leave is up with work!

After the appointment, we (dh, mother-in-law, and myself) headed to the nearby mall to start a registry at Babies-R-Us. I got pushed around in a wheelchair for that one! It was fun, though I'm still undecided on a few large items, the crib in particular. I think I'm going to have to do a little more research on that one. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays (heaven!), then went to Target to look at their baby stuff (I was unimpressed), following by a 1.5 hour quick stop (ahem) at Motherhood Maternity, where I spent way too much on some new Maternity clothes. I'm feeling super guilty about it now. By the time we got back home, I was exhausted.

Without further ado, here are some pics of our little one. We had some 3D images done, and I'm so thankful for that. Please remember that I'm only 5 1/2 months along, and she's just starting to really develop and distinguish her features. She still has a ways to go! Also, she was a little stinker during the u/s and wouldn't uncurl herself from her snuggly position. However, when she did, she was showing us how flexible she was by putting her hands and feet over her head (as evidenced by the 5th and 6th photos). The last photo is my favorite - look at that little button nose!

Enjoy, and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

Yay!! I'm so glad to hear that everything went well. Hopefully you'll be off bed rest soon?? Maybe?

Sounds like you got some *much needed* time out of the house and doing some really fun things. Isn't registering fun??? Don't forget that you can go online to Babies R Us, or Target, which is also very fun! Of course, I was a cheater, and kept looking to see what had been purchased! Shhhhhh.

Did you already say what her name will be? I don't remember.
