Well don't, because I'm actually wearing green. A green shirt, and green pants.
But you won't see a picture of that, because I'm still in my pj's!
How about this picture from last year?
Sadly I didn't have a chance to dress up in my St. Patty's Day garb this year as we didn't do the annual St. Patty's Day tradition with the in-laws.
.................................................................
I had a wonderful weekend with the family here. I was so sad to see them go though. I really wish they could have stayed longer. To say I was in a funk on Sunday after they left would be an understatement. I was missing them even more than usual. And my eyes are tearing up just thinking about it all.
When they pulled in the driveway, my sister said Luke's seat belt came flying off, and he was in the front seat of the car before it had fully stopped. He was the first one in the house, and when he saw me, he flew into my arms (more tears, dang these pregnancy hormones).
The visit started off quite eventful as Luke had gotten a splinter from our hand railing. Poor bugga.
After getting settled, we celebrated Luke's 4th birthday.
Notice a theme? Yep, he asked for a Star Wars Party, which of course meant Star Wars gifts and cake. (Notice there is a guy missing from the cake. It had already made its way to Luke's mouth to lick the frosting off of at the time of this picture). DH and I totally forgot to have him dress up in his Darth Vader costume for the occasion, which bums me out.
And look at this little guy - he's getting soooo big!!
You should see this boy eat!
Lots of time was spent playing with Luke and those Star Wars guys and cuddling with Noah. At the end of the day on Saturday, we went back to the hotel where the fam was staying at, and I laid with Luke in bed, watching the Cars movie, until he fell asleep. He was sooo snuggly - he laid his head right on my chest. Melted my heart.
The time went by too fast, and Luke is already trying to figure out a way to visit again soon (me too)! I love these boys so much!

Wanted to come over first chance I got! I so appreciated your words of encouragement and prayers last week when we were in such turmoil with my daughter Stephie.
I've been wandering around your blog and you have so much going on with the new house and your pregnancy, so glad things have gotten better for you by the way.
Blessings as you ease your way back into work...
Love to you and yours...Robin

So sweet. I'm glad you guys had such a great time! It's so hard to see those precious nephews leave--believe me, I know! I only get to see mine a couple times per year. :(
Thanks for the thoughts & prayers yesterday. It was not as difficult as I'd imagined......but then again I had wonderful people like you praying for me. :)

Aww, he's adorable. I love the Star Wars party! I think I had about eight of those when I was a kid.
