We happily celebrated Katie's 1st Birthday in June. She actually had two birthdays. :) The theme was pink and green, complete with tissue paper pom poms hanging from the ceiling, lots of balloons, cupcakes, and a candy dessert bar. I'll need to upload some pictures to share.
The summer was hot, and seemed to fly by. Between having family visiting, playing outside and enjoying the beautiful summer, and going to Maine for a camping trip for Labor Day weekend, life has been busy - and good.
Katie went trick-or-treating for the first time this past Halloween. She was a pirate, and she'd say "Yo Ho" to fit the part. She did very well, and had a great time. However, we got this freakish sleet/hail storm about a half hour into being out, so we needed to retreat to the house until the storm blew over. Once it did, Katie was all about going back out for more trick-or-treating.

Which leads us up to the present time. Life is still busy, but I plan on trying to blog more. I also have plans to re-do this blog some - it needs some tending to. I'd also like to put some focus on home decor and remodeling, as we've also been deep in many different projects over the last several months. Our upstairs bathroom is almost done - we just need to order some bead board wallpaper and put it up. And, it only took us 4 months to get to this point. ;)
It's good to be back!!
